FILM ON THE ROCKS YAO NOI

Talk about places you'd rather be. This floating cinema was commissioned by a new film festival, Film on the Rocks Yao Noi, that took place on the rocky shoreline of Yao Noi, Thailand early this year. A lucky group of festival goers where taken by boat to this floating auditorium created by architect Ole Scheeren, who constructed the entire raft from recycled materials.

DOILLIE DECORATIONS

We're calling it, doillies are the new "it" thing this season. So, we'd like to teach you how to make these super simple Doillie Decorations. Make sure to check out our new Doillie Kit which includes everything you need to make 10 doillie decorations plus it includes an easy to follow instruction sheet for just $4.95.

What you'll need!
• The Inky Co. Doillie Kit - includes 50 doillie sheets, 10 split pins and an instruction sheet.
• Five doillie sheets
• One split pin
• Scalpel (or scissors)
• Double sided sticky tape

1. With your five doillie sheets in a stack, use your scalpel to make a small slit in the centre of the doillie sheet.

2. Insert your split pin into the cut you just made.

3. Secure the split pin by separating the prongs and pushing them so they lie flat to the back of the doillie sheet.

4. Move your fingers under the first doillie sheet and squeeze the sheet together at the centre near the split pin. This will begin to build the ball like shape of your doillie decoration.

5. Repeat the squeezing technique on the next three doillie layers, leave the bottom (fifth layer) flat.

6. Cut off a small amount of double sided sticky tape and attach it to the back of your doillie decoration over the split pin.

7. Stick your doillie decoration to your present. Easy!
