If you have any issues with downloading the PDF, try right-clicking ('Ctrl' and click for the mac) on the download button and saving directly to your computer. We've printed these cards on normal white printed paper, then used spray adhesive to stick them onto good quality white card stock. We have then cut them out using a ruler and scalpel.

The downloadable pdfs in this blog post (and across the Inky Co. site) are free for personal use only. They are strictly not for commercial use. It's nearly that time of the year when school goes back after the summer break. Here is the best and easiest way to send the kids back with brand new folders!
What you'll need!
• A school folder.
• A roll of wrapping paper - we've used Confetti Carnival.
• Scissors.
• Double sided sticky tape.

1. Lay the opened folder out on the unrolled wrapping paper. Cut to size, you should aim to have the same amount of excess paper around the entire folder. Then begin cutting in line with the creases at the centre of the folder.

2. Your cuts should look like this. Apply double sided sticky tape to only the thick centre panel of wrapping paper.

3. Lift this centre panel and adhere to folder.

4. Repeat steps 1-3 on the opposite side. Once both centre panels are adhered snip off the thin strips of wrapping paper on either side.

5. Working with the bottom edge of the back side of the folder, cut a diagonal line (approximately 2cm from the edge of the folder) towards the corner of your folder.

6. Apply double sided tape to the edges of this bottom panel of wrapping paper.

7. Adhere the panel of wrapping paper to the folder, make sure not to pull too tight or you will cause ripples when you close the folder.

8. Repeat steps 5-7 on the opposite side. Your folder should look like this.

9. Focusing on the remaining open end of the folder. Cut a diagonal line towards the corner of the folder. Make this diagonal cut on both sides of the panel.

10. Apply double sided sticky tape to the edges of the panel then adhere to the folder.

11. Repeat the process on the other side of the folder. The end result will look like this!

Midway through December last year I joined 20+ bloggers for a two day Photoshop intensive. Obviously I haven't forgotten everything I learned at uni (I only graduated two years ago!) but this wasn't any ordinary Photoshop tute, it was Blogshop run by Bri of Designlovefest and Angela of Angela + Ithyle! I had heaps of fun over those two days and hopefully I can use my new blogging skills to make the Inky blog a little more exciting in 2013.

Along with the awesome tips and tutorials, each Blogshop attendee took home a lovely goodies bag. I was super excited when I received an email saying Bri & Angela wanted to include Inky Co.'s pink and orange pen/pencil sets in the Melbourne goodies bags and our Inka Earth Spots notebooks in the Austin, Texas goodies bags.
