We've printed these cards on normal white printed paper, then used spray adhesive to stick them onto good quality white card stock. We have then cut them out using a ruler and scalpel.

Valentine's Day, one of the only times of the year that hot pink and red sit so well together. By the way, if you hadn't heard, this Thursday marks V-Day so I've collected so pretty things that have caught my eye over the past few days.

Valentine's Day, whether you love it or hate it, is just around the corner. This week we would like to show you how to add a personal touch to your Valentine's Day gift, be it for your lover or your best friend (remember GALENTINE'S DAY is on the 13th ladies! Thank you Leslie Knope). This DIY is seriously easy, we even have a template that you can download to make sure your gift bags look amazing!


What you'll need:
• The Inky Co. GIFT BAG TEMPLATE
• Inky Co. WRAPPING PAPER - we've used LARGE WHITE DOT ON KRAFT & ANTIQUE ROSE
• Glue stick
• Blu Tack
• Ruler
• Scissors or scalpel
• Double sided tape
• Decorations - we've used MT TAPE, POM POM RIBBON, TWISTED TWINE, BROWN STRING, TISSUE for a TISSUE FLOWER, GIFT TAGS and MINI PEGS
• Goodies to fill your gift bag!

What to do:
• Print off the Inky Co. Gift Bag template.
• Using your glue stick, paste the printed template onto a thick piece of card. Then cut around the template following only the solid black lines (solid black lines are for cutting, dash lines are for folding).

• Once your template has been cut out add Blu Tack to the corners of the back side of the template. Stick your template down to the non pattern side of the wrapping paper.
• Use a scalpel or scissors to cut around your template, then carefully remove the template from your wrapping paper.
• Use your rule to help you fold the glue panel first. Then use the ruler to fold the flaps at the base of your wrapping paper gift bag.

• Then begin folding the panels by making sure the top edges of the wrapping paper line up.
• Once all the folds have been made add some double sided tape to the glue panel then stick the two opposite sides together.
• At the base of the bag fold the square flaps down first, then add tape to the two tilted flaps. Put one hand in the bag while pressing the taped flaps down with the other.
• Use a hole punch to make handles.


Now you have a beautiful gift bag you can have fun decorating! Add little tissues flowers, MT Tape and personalised gift tags to make your gift bag unique.
